To be honest, I'm kind of obsessed with witches. I really can't tell if that was ever apparent before in the random hints of dark magic trickled through multiple shoots from months past....yeah...they rule. And I'm not hinting at any voodoo spells up my chiffon sleeves but the entire history of it all is beyond fascinating to me. We find modern day witch vibes here and there in some of the latest trends from floor length layered lace maxi's ( DRESS NOT PADS!! ) to velvet lace up boots and Victorian style jewelry...I live for that shit.
Needless to say the wardrobe for this mini shoot was inspired by the dark witchy lady that lies within. And if anyone actually knows me in real life...which I'm guessing is like..3 people who read this...BUT...I have sporadic switches in the styles that I wear ...it goes from Coco Chanel to Marilyn Manson, flips over to a pin up and dabbles into the futuristic witch genre..it's like..bipolar wardrobe....but witch inspo is muy importante in the manic mix of a closet I have.
And...can we just discuss the shoes? THE SHOESSSSS. The shoes are the reason I cannot fit through a doorway, and therefor they are soooo cool that I can only use them for shooting purposes...ohhh the shoes....so good, yet your sick ways of turning me into a disproportionate amazon lady is quite cruel to my platform loving little heart :)
